An Enchanting Starry Night
Welcome to this year’s 2023 S.E.A. Formal where the theme for the evening will be “An Enchanting Starry Night“. As an organization that has not been able to hold this annual event since 2020, this theme embodies the perseverance and resilience of our Sisterhood. We have continued to reach for the stars despite all the adversities we have faced and continue to face as we find ourselves in a “new normal”. As such, we present to you “An Enchanting Starry Night“.
Members and guests are to come dressed in Black Tie Attire as this will be a night of enchanting elegance. The S.E.A. Formal Committee is excited to put this event together for all of you and cannot wait to SEA you all there!

S.E.A. Formal will be taking place at Bridgewater Manor this year. We will be in the Imperial Ballroom.

There will be a one-hour cocktail service and all members and their guests must be 21 years of age to drink responsibly as we will have a four (4) hour open bar.
Everyone must have a state-issued ID with them at the event.

The Westin Governor Morris
All guests who wish to do an overnight stay nearby are able to book a room at The Westin Governor Morris located at 2 Whippany Road, Morristown, NJ 07960. This is located 16 miles from the venue.
All guests must use the reservation link provided to book their rooms. Your room must be reserved by Saturday, April 29th, 2023. If you have any issues reserving your room, you can also call (888) 627-8419 and say you are with the Lambda Tau Omega Anniversary. (Note: Room rates are up to double occupancies. Each additional person after 2 is $20 per person to cover the cost of transportation. When making a reservation, you will be asked how many guests will be occupying the room.)
Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel on the day of the event. The shuttle will be scheduled to leave the hotel by 7:15 pm. Pick-up from the venue will be 11:45 pm. All guests who fail to be ready by the transportation times will have to drive to and from the hotel in their own transportation.
Lambda at Heart
This is a sister who is very involved in the sorority not only in her chapter. She embodies the neo spirit. (This sister does not have to be a neo.) She actively attends sorority functions and events. You can always count on her to support Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc.
Scholarly Lambda
This is a sister who has either: the highest GPA in her chapter made the Dean’s List or has raised her GPA tremendously in the past year due to her hard work and dedication.
Progressive Lambda
This is a sister who hasn’t been around for a while (doesn’t have to be an alumni) but all of a sudden has dedicated more of her time to LTO.
Chapter of the Year
This award is based on your SEA Packets that are handed in twice a year. In the Fall and in the Spring.
Outstanding Achievement Award
This is a sister who has been a sister for over 5 years. This sister has shown outstanding achievement within the whole sorority. She has lived by our motto Excellence Through Unity Knowledge and Dedication.
Heart of the Sea
Undergrad Sister of the Year – This is an undergrad sister who embodies the true meaning of Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc. we feel that this sister’s activeness and dedication to the Sorority at an undergraduate level radiates above all of our enchanting sisters.
Heart of the Ocean
Sister of the Year – This is an Alumni/Older Sister who besides her role as A WOMYN, MOTHER, WIFE, DAUGHTER, PROVIDER, etc. in the real world; her love for Lambda Tau Omega Sorority, Inc. burns in her SOUL and is seen in her undying support through many years as a sister.
Sparkling New Fins
This is a sister that is considered a NEO (Fall 2022-Spring 2023)
